The EeePC 2G Surf is the entry-level model of Asus’ popular Eee PC range.

Despite having less features (no integrated camera is the biggie), the EeePC 2G Surf is an excellent first laptop, especially for a kid or young student.

At the prices it is available for it is almost entering the “disposable” category so it wouldn’t be the end of the world is the laptop was lost, stolen or had some beverage tipped all over it.
